What type of tv is best suited to use as a computer monitor to play computer games on?
What type of tv is best suited for use as a computer screen for playing games. Does the graphics look great on the tv or better on a computer monitor? What are the pros and cons of using a tv as a computer monitor for computer games? Is there a blur on the tv screen just like when you move the mouse too quickly on a computer monitor?
No TV has better resolution than an average monitor.
HDTV is pitiful resolution compared to the average computer.
To put it in context- regular US tv (NTSC) is 640×480 (which is why that used to be the computer normal resolution). HDTV’s more like 1024×768 (it’s not that, but it’s something near).
My computer’s running at 1600×1200. No TV will come close to that resolution.
